About Me

I have spent the past decade working in community mental health, supporting individuals and families through complex and deeply personal challenges. My decision to pursue counselling was shaped by my own experience of supporting a loved one living with mental illness.

During that time, I found myself navigating the uncertainty of how best to help, while also struggling to understand and process my own trauma. It was through this journey that I discovered the transformative power of therapy—not only for my loved one, but for myself as well. Witnessing their life change through counselling, while finding my own path to healing, solidified my commitment to this work.

I believe therapy should feel safe—a space where you can be your most authentic and vulnerable self. I am committed to creating a confidential, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and respected.

My approach is grounded in both professional experience and lived understanding. I recognise how challenging it can be to hold space for someone you love while trying to care for yourself, and the confusion that can come with navigating trauma and relationships at the same time.

Therapy gave me the tools to make sense of my experiences and move forward with clarity. It is now my purpose to offer that same support to others—providing a space where your story matters, your experiences are honoured, and your healing can begin.

Outside of the therapy room, my life is centred around family and my much-loved fur babies. I enjoy long walks, quiet moments with a good coffee, and, when I can, indulging my love of chocolate.
